Our Story

Tabby Trappers, founded in the beginning of 2020, was created to help humanely reduce the feral cat population in York County, Pennsylvania. We specialize in trapping feral cats on location, transporting them to clinics to have licensed vets perform de-sexing surgeries/vaccinations, and returning the cats back to their natural environment, where they can live out the remainder of their lives.

While we are still a small organization, made up of a handful of dedicated volunteers, we strive to make a difference in the feral and community cat population. Despite the challenges of starting a new organization and adding the stresses of COVID on top of that, we were able to successfully Trap, Spay/Neuter and return over 630 cats in 2020.

As a registered 501(c)3, our mission is to provide assistance to citizens of York County, Pennsylvania in their efforts to Trap, Spay/Castrate, and Return any outdoor cat with the goal of humanely decreasing the community cat population and ending the cycle of suffering.

EVENTS - SEPTEMBER 2025

Cans For Cats - 9/6/25 11 am - 2 pm
Come fill our trap van with aluminum cans! We will be parked at the Weis Markets off of Roosevelt Ave collecting any and all clean and label-less cans for our TNR kitties. Once the event ends, cans will be taken to the recycler in York, processed and we will get a portion of the monetary value. If a magnet does not stick to it, it's donatable.

Wags On Wright - 9/7/25 - 11 am - 3 pm
Make sure your pets can always find their way home with the help from Tabby Trappers! We will be hosting our monthly microchip clinic to ensure your pet gets the chip they deserve. For just $20 your dog or cat will receive a microchip with lifetime registration - no annual fees or hidden costs.

Paws and Claws - 9/20/25 - 10 am - 3 pm
